Derwent

SOLD

Derwent was a doll created for a challenge on one of the doll lists that I am currently a member of. He has stopped mid throw to witness the coming of the New Years Fairy who will help to protect the inhabitants of the forest from the bitter winds and deep snow. He is hand sculpted from polymer clay with an armature stregthened by Aves Apoxie Sculpt. He has a soft sculpted body over a wire armature and can be gently posed. No molds whatsoever were used in his construction.

Derwent stands about 9 1/2 inches tall to the tip of his shell hat. His snowball has a polymer clay core and can be removed from his hand. He stands securely on his wooden base which is also covered in imitation snow. His shoes are sculpted from clay, but the rest of his clothes including his socks are all sewn by myself. The base is store bought but hand finished.
