Winter is a time for hibernating, rebirth, and contemplation. Personally, it's my favorite time of the year, because it is the time when outside pursuits aren't calling on a regular basis, and I am free to create rather than work outside the home. The summer and early fall months I am busy with seasonal work which is why I tend to disappear during those times, but winter and spring both give me all the time in the world to sculpt to my hearts delight.

The Winter Tree Spirit is the first doll of my annual return to the art doll world. She has crystal quartz and moonstone gemstone leaves and is the smallest of my tree spirits, standing only 11 1/2 inches tall including her base.
