Mr. Bristlecone

Mr. Bristlecone is bit of a trickster, but only in a good hearted way. He mostly delights in confusing birders in the woods, by mimicking the calls of very rare birds, which generally gets them running around in circles trying to find the elusive bird. He's so good at bird calls, that he has enticed a family to nest in his hair, and he patiently babysits while the parents are off hunting. Mr. Bristlecone is hand sculpted without the use of molds (Pure Sculpt). His hand and head, and the "tree" is made from polymer clay. His mustach is made from coarse hair, and his hair and eyebrows are made from natural mosses. The eggs in the nest are hand sculpted from polymer clay as well.
